I'm gonna do my best to not turn this into a vegan cupcake/baked-goods blog. But bare with me; it's all that's on my mind as of late. I'm like a zombie following baking orders from on-high. Yipee for escapism, or yipee for following ethereal directions. I'm not questioning it
Oh, I may have my first cupcake order for Valentine's. It would be from my good and kind friend, Kim, but an order nonetheless! I'm on my way, kinda sorta. A handful of dollars closer . . .
Here are a couple recent self portraits:
Chocolate Chip Cinnamon Cake with Mousse Topping. Notice I'm practicing my decoratin'
Here are the pride of the Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World book. These are the Rose Water Pistachio cakes. They're so good it kinda hurts.
More portraited resolutions here.

Look at you go :)
Keep the faith baby 'cause all the good is headed right at you!!!
Hang on, I'll be right there.
I said hang ON. Don't eat that last rosewaterpistachio cake. It's shaking its little pink ass at me.
Come on out, girl. That last RoseWP is lloonnngg gone, but I will make you your dozen.
Actually, I have to figure out a way to ship these things without frosting mishaps . . .'cause the next Maya TKD fundraiser is gonna be a bake sale.
I'm attaching a link on how to mail perishables. http://www.ehow.com/how_258_mail-perishables.html NO excuse!!! One dozen to STUDIO CITY, CA...STAT!!!
wow, these are amazing.....what makes the icing pink?? i'm making cupcakes next week and was fantasizing about pink icing but don't want to use food coloring, which i assume is full of crap.....
oh my goodness these look so good i can taste them and they're healthy too? i'm in heaven now!
ESB, I'm just gonna fess up now and say that I used some food coloring that had mesmerized me at a gourmet cooking store. BUT, I do agree with you about food coloring in general. I was going to order some natural coloring online. See link below:

Thanks for the perishable link! I'm checking it out right now.
holy sweetness! "Yes!!!" at the top of my lungs to the bake sale :)
ummmmm, YUM! Those pistachio rosewater beauties have me all excited, too....
dear me - those looks so delicious i could reach through the screen and eat em up! yum!
omg! you are a genius! more power and prosperity to you, girl!
I betcha you could just use beet juice in the frosting without too much flavor interference. I mean it doesn't get much pinker than beets.
